Our Food Pantry Needs Your Donations
Our volunteer-staffed Food Pantry distributes fresh meat, produce, dairy, canned and dried goods, every Wednesday from 8 to 10 am.
Free food is offered to LGBT Riverside County residents in need who are age 55 or better or disabled. Read more about our Food Pantry program
More than ever, our food pantry needs your help. Recent weeks have seen a steady rise in participants in our weekly distribution, and our resources are strained. Please donate if you can to help us meet our increased Food Pantry needs.

While we are always grateful for your donated food items (canned and boxed non-perishables only, please), your cash contribution will go even further to feed those in need. We are able to obtain food at pennies on the dollar from the local distribution center. A box of cereal or can of tuna that costs you $2 or more is available to us for less than $1. Please consider making your gift in dollars instead of foodstuffs. We are always pleased to receive donations and the gratitude of our Food Pantry clients is immeasurable. Click on the Donate button below to contribute now.

Friday Summer Hours: The Center will be open from 8:30 am to Noon on Fridays through September 3rd.

The Golden Rainbow Center - SAGE provides a safe, supportive, welcoming and active environment that promotes health, wellness, and social programs to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) community in the Coachella Valley. The Center's programs and support services, which promote vibrant aging and positive images of LGBT persons, connect and unite men, women, families, and friends who share similar needs and concerns at all stages of life. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. We encourage you to stop by and see our facility!
Golden Rainbow Center, a proud affiliate of SAGE (Services and Advocacy for GLBT Elders), is the world's oldest and largest nonprofit agency dedicated to serving and advocating for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) seniors. Since SAGE was founded in 1978, activists in a number of communities around the country have started their own SAGE affiliates to serve and advocate for LGBT seniors. SAGE works with affiliates in cities like Milwaukee, St. Louis, Salt Lake City, Buffalo to make life better for older adults in their home communities and across the country. For more information on SAGE and its programs, visit www.sageusa.org.
